Keong Saik Road - 25 April 2026

I recently joined a hobby group called “Singapore Weekend Photography” from Meetup website, a website where local social events organized by individuals are happening. Basically, the session starts with a brief meet-and-greet with fellow attendees, and organizers making sure everyone is present before we start our journey walking around the planned route and taking photos along the way, and ending with a chit-chat over drinks at a nearby cafe.

I brought my trusty Canon Eos R8 with 24-70mm F2.8L lens for this trip, which is also my primary gear for actual work. There were an estimate of 30 attendees for this session exploring and photographing around Keong Saik Road region, many of the attendees have brought their own professional gear as well, few brought gears that are really high on price tag, while one or two use their own smartphone.
